Edward Bear were a pop trio from Toronto, Ontario, who took their name from a character in
Winnie The Pooh. They scored six hits in their native Canada, and three on the Billboard charts in the USA between 1970 and 1974. The group, signed to Capitol Records, was comprised of
Larry Evoy on vocals and drums,
Roger Ellis on guitar, and
Paul Weldon on keyboards.
