ABBA formed in Stockholm, Sweden and their name is an acronym of the members' first initials" Anni-Frid (Frida), Bjorn Ulvaeus, Benny Anderson, and Agnetha Fältskog. Except for Frida who was born in Norway, everyone else was born in Sweden.
Between 1974 and 1982, they appeared on the Billboard charts twenty times, had 4 Top Tens hits and two Gold Records.
