The Arbors were from Ann Arbor, Michigan, and consisted of two pairs of brothers: Edward and Fred Farran, and Scott and Tom Herrick.
They only appeared on the Billboard chart a total of five times, and one of those times they peaked at #114, bubbling under the Hot 100. However they recorded a number of memorable songs, including their cover version of The Letter, originally a hit for the Box Tops.
Voice Your Choice presents The Arbors. Cast your vote at the Voice Your Choice page for either A Symphony For Susan (their first charted hit) or The Letter (their 4th single and biggest hit). I'll play the winner in the 3rd hour of next week's show.
