Timi Yuro was born Rosemary Timothy Yuro August 4, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois. She had an extremely powerful voice that some dubbed "Leather Lungs". Sadly she died at age 63 on March 30, 2004.
She had a fair number of songs reach the Hot 100 Billboard charts, 15 in fact. She also co-wrote Make The World Go Away with Eddy Arnold, who also had a hit with his recorded version.
