It sure feels good getting back to normal after all the Christmas, Hanukah, and New Year's celebrations. And fun to already have two shows completed in 2018. And I had a really good time preparing this week's show for you; thinking I would start out with a mini British Music Invasion. And was it ever good to hear the Dave Clark Five, The Zombies and The Yardbirds as the starting point for this week's show!You will want your calendar to give you an alert for our next special. It's our annual salute to the music of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and The Big Bopper. The Day The Music Died will occupy the entire 4th hour of the show, during which you will hear some of your favourites by these artists, along with interview clips graciously provided to me by Rock and Roll Hall of Fame DJ Red Robinson, plus actual news clips and bulletins that announced the tragic news. The Day The Music Died Special will air Live Sunday, February 4th.
