Herman's Hermits, from Manchester, England, were one of the successful British Invasion groups. Fronted by charismatic child star Peter Noone, Herman's Hermits got their name from the cartoon character "Sherman" on The Bullwinkle Show.Between 1964 and 1968 they scored 19 singles on the Billboard chart with 11 of them in the Top Ten and three achieving Gold Record status. Quite a feat indeed!
