There have been so many artists and groups other than Elvis Presley, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys, Chuck Berry, etc. to hit the charts. However, we tend to recall only the big names that had enduring careers and maintained a high profile. But there were many, many who had huge hits ONCE, and then disappeared. They are referred to as One Hit Wonders.This week on the Treasure Island Oldies radio show we feature those One Hit Wonders. When you hear some of these great singers and their hit songs, you'll be saying "I can't believe they only had one hit".
For example, you'll hear In The Year 2525, Sally Go Round The Roses, Lay A Little Lovin' On Me, Rescue Me, Get A Job, and so many more.
