Week of August 13th, 2017 to August 19th, 2017
I was very pleased to pay tribute to the late Glen Campbell on this week's show. He was a tremendously talented guitar player; was a member of the Wrecking Crew studio musicians in Los Angeles, substituted for a period of time for Brian Wilson as lead vocalist with the Beach Boys; and when he was signed to a record contract with Capitol Records, his career really took off. In my opinion, the best way for me to pay tribute to an artist is to play their music people love to hear. It was also very poignant to play Adios, the title song of his latest album that was released in June. Glen Campbell, R.I.P.
