Chad & Jeremy were two stars from the British Music Invasion era of the 1960s. Chad Stewart and Jeremy Clyde, both born in 1941, met at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. During that time, Chad taught Jeremy to play the guitar and they went on to form a folk outfit called The Jerks.
Interestingly, they only had one hit in their native United Kingdom, and that was Yesterday's Gone. However in North America, they went on to have several more hits, including Willow Weep For Me, A Summer's Song, From A Window, and others.
Next week on Treasure Island Oldies, Voice Your Choice presents Chad & Jeremy. Cast your vote at the Voice Your Choice page for either Willow Weep For Me or Yesterday's Gone. I'll play the winning song on next week's show.
